芳草地画廊荣幸宣布，《枪炮玫瑰——沈敬东个展》将于2018年8月5日在北京侨福芳草地内的空间开幕。

在这次个展中，著名当代艺术家沈敬东将展示由军旅题材、童话元素、糖果质感与五彩光泽所构成的独一无二的艺术世界，其中大量展品为2018年的全新力作。各位观众将欣赏到《英雄》、《小王子》、《朋友》等沈敬东老师创作的经典系列绘画、雕塑作品。

作为一名六十年代出生的军人与艺术家，沈敬东喜欢将英雄主义与童趣相结合。在他作品中的各式人物，无论是时代伟人还是普通角色，大部分看似色彩鲜艳、面带微笑的糖人，他们可爱而又坚毅。在这种艺术风格中，历经风雨的枪炮表现出玫瑰的浪漫。

“大画家石涛讲：笔墨当随时代。虽然无数艺术家熟知这句话，但明白的人少之又少。无论是书法、绘画、雕塑乃至设计、音乐、文学等艺术形式都在无休止的重复复制，乃至在看美术馆展出的作品的时候，大家都心知肚明但不说透。由此看来创新是一件讲起来容易，实难做到的事情。而沈敬东老师的绘画和雕塑有自己独有的语言和时代特征，轻松、诙谐还隐藏着丝丝担忧。在他的作品里像我们看高级的草书艺术一样，有血有肉，有风有雨，有爱有恨，有真有假。因为有看头，所以我喜欢沈敬东先生的作品！”

The Parkview Green Art is glad to declare that “Guns N' Roses —— Shen Jingdong’s Solo Exhibition” will open in the gallery of Parkview Green Aug. 5th, 2018.

In this solo exhibition, the famous contemporary artist Shen Jingdong will show his unique art world constituted by theme of military, elements of fairytale, texture of candy, and shinning of colors. A lot of exhibits are his recent artworks made in 2018. Visitors would enjoy paintings and sculptures of Hero, the Little Prince, Friend, and other works of Shen’s classic series.

As a soldier and artist born in the 1960s, Shen Jingdong likes making heroism combine with childlike interest. The characters in his artworks, no matter the great or nobody, mostly look like a colorful candy figure with a smile. They are cute and tough. In this art style, an enduring gun reflects the romance of rose.

“Paintings should keep up with the times, as Shi Tao, a great painter, pointed out four centuries ago, but few artists understands this statement adequately though they may be quite familiar with it. Repetition is not rare in calligraphy, painting, sculpture, design, music, literature, and many other forms of art, which, as reality, everyone at exhibitions is fully aware but no one chooses to point out. Innovation, in this sense, is a good topic but a demanding task. Shen Jingdong’s paintings and sculptures are unique for their style and expression of the zeitgeist, relax and witty, with traces of slight uneasiness. Like a cursive calligraphy masterpiece, his works are full of vivid details, covering a full gamut of sentiments and reality. Shen Jingdong’s works appeal to me for what is worth seeing. ”

『关于艺术家 ABOUT THE ARTIST』

沈敬东 SHEN JING DONG

1965年生于中国江苏省南京市，1984年 毕业于南京晓庄师范学校美术班，1991年毕业于南京艺术学院美术系版画专业，毕业后1991-2009年在南京军区政治部前线文工团从事舞台美术工作。2010年入住宋庄艺术区，2014年成为中国当代美术研究院油画院院长。

2006年至今已在世界各大画廊、美术馆举办个展二十余次，2007年《人皆英雄》、2008年《英雄》和《最可爱的人》、2010年《人皆英雄II》、2014年《我的童话王国》、2015年《“小王子”沈敬东个展》等展览在北京、香港、纽约各地引起强烈反响，2016至2017年间《“国际玩笑”沈敬东个展》在韩国清州、广东中山、北京、以及美国马里兰州巡回展出。油画、雕塑等众多作品被中国美术馆、上海1号美术馆、河南美术馆、西班牙WURTH美术馆、南京艺术学院等诸多公共机构收藏。

1965, was born in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. 1984, graduated from the fine art class of Nanjing Xiaozhuang Normal School. 1991, Graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, Nanjing Academy of Art. 1991 to 2009, served in the Battlefront Art Troupe of the Political Department of Nanjing Military Region. 2010, joined the Songzhuang Art Area. 2014, became the President of Oil Painting Academy, Contemporary Art Institute of China

Since 2006, has held more than 20 solo exhibitions on famous galleries and art museums. 2007 “We could be Heroes”, 2008 “Heroes” and “The Most Beloved People”, 2010 “We could be Heroes II”, 2014 “My Kingdom of Fairytales”, and 2015 “The Little Prince: Shen Jingdong Solo Exhibition” created great reputation in Beijing, Hong Kong, and New York. 2016 to 2017, “International Jokes: Shen Jingdong Solo Exhibition” toured Cheogju, Korea, Zhongshan, Canton, Beijing, and Maryland, USA. His oil paintings, sculptures, and etc. are collected by National Art Museum of China, Yi Shanghai Art Museum, Gallery of Henan Province, the Wurth Museum, Spain, Nanjing University of the Arts, and other institutions.
